La commission extra-municipale, en charge du pré-projet concernant la création d'un espace multi-culturel, s'est réunie le samedi 9 janvier 2021. Une première rencontre pour que les neuf personnes la composant, cinq Valenciens et quatre élus, puissent faire connaissance et visiter le site envisagé.
La future implantation sur l'ex-site Touja, avec un accès par la route neuve, offrira. une belle surface de terrain et de bâtiments. Un environnement favorable, tourné vers l'Abbaye de Flaran et qui permettra d'accéder par un chemin piétonnier au centre de la Bastide, via le quartier des Capots.
Favoriser la création et la pratique culturelle, en direction des habitants de la commune, de la Région et des touristes, découvrir l'histoire de la Bastide sont les axes principaux de la réflexion qui s'est engagée le 27 février 2021.

An extra-municipal working group looks at developing a new cultural space
On Saturday 9 January 2021 nine members of an extra-municipal working group, made up of five Valencians and four elected representatives, met for the first time and visited the planned site together.
The future location on the former Touja site, with access from the New Road, is made up of a large area of land and buildings. The site is well situated, facing the Abbaye de Flaran and allowing access to the centre of the Bastide via a pedestrian path, via the Capots district of the village.
At a second meeting on 27 February 2021 the working group started gathering ideas as to what kind of a cultural space might encourage, promote and deliver a cultural resource for the inhabitants of the commune, the region and tourists alike, as well as support the presentation of the Bastide’s history.
